What can't you stand?- Bill Hybels
1) Is there any culture back in your schools you can't stand?
2) Is there any areas in your life that you need to change so as to change the bad culture in your school?
Guys, this is key people. Understanding what you can't stand in this world will fuel us towards holy discontentment. With holy discontentment, it will further gear us towards serving God and loving his people in ways that we never knew we could. I encourage you guys to think through about the video and do some self reflection upon your life. =D
Some thoughts running through my brain when i was watching.. How can people not give their best in living their lives fully towards growing more in God?! How can people be satisfied with all the gangsterism, aimless lives, lives that only meant to pursue an endless goal, girlfriends and boyfriends. How can they not know Jesus? How can the schools that are suppose to be a missionary schools to have unbiblical culture in it?!
NO NO NO. We can't let this happen. The church MUST reach out and save the LOST. amen?

I heard the video,again and again and again and again. My answer to the things i can't stand is that,i can't stand when people leave God because of some exaccpetable reasons. When miracles,blessings,testimonys are proved and showed by God,people still choose to not accept God's best plan for them. People can spend quiet time(just reading your bible) but can still backside. But,people whose relationship is strong,stays faithful,strong and focus,will know,God's best plan. Don't ever choose the lousiest plan,but choose the best plan God has for you. Give you best,stay faithful to God and God will bless you! Wait for God's blessing! Only when a child waits and be disciple,the father will see,and observe and will confirm,give what the son discipled for and asked for. Wait upon the lord and he will give.
What impacted me the most was the last question of desperation... "What wrecks you?!" Because of this question, it made me think... What is one thing in this group that wrecks you? What is one thing that makes you discontented?! And I found my answer... Ungodliness!!! I totally agree with Sunny. Missionary schools should be more Word Centered! SA, Montfort and SGABS should start acting like one! Or rather, not acting, but behaving like one! How can the light of God be shone in this manner through the schools?! If you dare to call your school a missionary school, start governing it like one!
And guess what, we are the ones! Even Barack Obama's campaign is about CHANGE! We are the generation who can make a difference in this perverse society!
On the top of that, God's power is on us! All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to us... If our heart cry is that of God, wouldn't He help us even more?!
My point is, CG08 is definitely possible!!! Montfort and SGABS can do it! We've got to put the pedal to the metal!!! GOGOGOGOGO!!!
What's at stake when a church dies?People can't go to church! People can't meet God! As this is about my 20+ time watching this video. And it really wrecks not only us when churchs dies,destoryed..it wrecks God. It wrecks God. Lets really start off now. While we'll still in our school,family,country,start now. When we go out into the world,we will do God's work and bring people to God!! Start bringing people to God,and God to people.
After hearing this video, this actually impacted me, that left a great imprint in my heart, that lead me to think, that nowadays , more and more youth problems arising, that there was an increase in teenage abortions and stuff, that why do people do that? People need God !
The 3 schools are missionary schools,okay, maybe like what Marcus said, you start entering the school, and you see Sec 1s screaming vulgarities, at such a young age, you see people who call themselves Christians, scolding vulgarities, leading to the school having a bad name, thinking all christians are like that. This is one thing i cant stand.
I believe God will not let this continue on, to just spoil the reputations of christians worldwide, that i believe that Christ will win the school, that i want to pray for the schools, hoping it would be more of a missionary school, that honors God's name. That i believe Cg08 can and will be completed.
as i was watching the video....i thought of the people in the 3 schools that are living their life as "happy go easy" type.....i just can't stand the fact that christians in the school are not putting God 1st in their lives even though they and people who are bob-believers reject God even when they hear the good news.
And i was thinking about the 2nd question that sunny asked and i repented.
how can we change other's life when we are not being blameless to others? other people would be able to find fault in you being a christian and they would have a bad impression about christians.
So i decided to change the way i talk in school so that people will have a good impression of christians.
Therefore,we must be salt and light everywhere we go so that others may have a good impression about christians and they would come to know the truth and accept salvation into their lives.
